TownHouse™ series : 2008 - ongoing
These tiny, minimalist houses feel like the first inhabitants; these are simple forms that came before the more elaborate homes were built.
The colorful little houses in this series are individually handmade by me with lots of love!
Each one is crafted from high-fired stoneware clay and fired in my giant electric kiln to at least 1240°C / 2264°F — sometimes even hotter! At those temperatures, the clay vitrifies completely, making the houses super strong and rock hard.
Size approximately 2 - 2.2 cm / 0.7 - 0.8 inch. Signed with my initials (Sz)
